The Fashion Notebook was founded on April 28th 2010, by Nancie Mwai…It started out as a personal style blog but has evolved to a full fashion, beauty and glamour website now known as Fashion Notebook.

Nancie has always been a lover of fashion since a young age, wanted to be a designer but that didn’t go so well with her mother, obsessed with reading fashion blogs she realised that there were very few or even close to no fashion blogs in Kenya and decided to start “Fashion Notebook” With the love for fashion combined with passion and talent in styling she started NancieMwai.com. Nancie Mwai is a stylist and Editor of an online African Fashion Magazine, Kasha Magazine. As a stylist she is currently working with Daily Nation for the Sunday Magazine Buzz and Kasha Magazine.

The Fashion Notebook started out as a personal style blog, show casing Nancie’s everyday outfits but now also includes Kenyan Street Style, Men’s Fashion, Glamorous Red Carpet Events and fashion from Africa and all over the world. Personal outfits still remain, its an easy way to showcase how one can look glamorous and fashionable without breaking bank!

The Fashion Notebook gives everyone a chance to be a part of fashion, we do not believe in the notion that Fashion is only for the select few or those who can afford it…fashion is for everyone, the college student, the office secretary, the lawyer, the teacher, the web geek, we have everything for everyone. We seek to be an African fashion hub that celebrates global fashion.
