Hey Sweethearts…this is my semi casual look, I’ve had this blouse close to six years now and I rarely wear it. Just like the title suggests, it has a story….I wore this blouse back in 2010, it was in the first outfit I ever posted on the blog, see here
I paired with my favourite skinny jeans. When I bought these denims I had to jump up and down just to get them in. That was back in 2010. I still do sometimes when I’ve over fed especially just after the holidays but they are still my fave!
The belt I’m wearing is probably older than me. I got it from my mom….its plastic and this is the belt that my mom used to whoop me when I needed to be disciplined. I couldn’t stand the site of this belt when I was young
I barely accessorized the my semi casual look, I went for round earrings, python print pumps and a bold fuchsia lip. I put my hair in a sleek simple puff, I’m going to do cornrows today though, unlike the ones I had earlier, this time I wont use braids. I hope it will not backfire on me.
Blouse, from Thika {worn here}
Denims, from Westlands Mansion {worn here}
Belt, from my mom
Earrings, from Maasai Market
Heels from Adams {worn here}

Awww Nancie you looking incredibly beautiful. I like everything about your outfit. It’s so well put and makeup well done. Love the fushcia lips. I also have jeans from 2008 that i rarely wear but when i do, i sometimes have to jump up and down to get them in, so you not alone on this.

Hey I am loving your semi casual look here. Plus your hair looks longer here? Did you stretch it out to make the puff ? (please share how you do your puff, it gives you a glow) As for the cornrows -mmmm they normally remind me of primary school girls, lol. Nonetheless I think you might be the lucky few who have the head shape for it, so go for it. With great earings and nice outfits ,I’m sure you will rock it

I love how your outfit has a story! That belt must be pretty tough to have lasted this long. I have some that ripped within the first year of me wearing them.
